That’s Korean for “Hello,” and our family would like to give you the warmest of greetings! You know those roasted seaweed snacks that come in those little plastic trays? Our family-owned company prides itself in being the first to introduce snack-sized seaweed to the United States in 1996! We take seaweed seriously. You could call us seaweed connoisseurs if you will.

Our Story

“Growing up, I would watch my grandmother carefully roast and season seaweed for the family over a stove to reach the right level of flavor. We knew that the seaweed would be perfectly roasted and made with love. Years later, as one of the first and premier makers of roasted seaweed in the US, we’ve strived to follow my grandmother’s tradition of preparing our seaweed with the upmost care and love. We hope you enjoy our seaweed just as much as I enjoyed it as a child.”

Our Goal

Our goal has always been to make the best-tasting roasted seaweed by following one mantra: Never compromise quality.

It all starts with the finest ingredients. Our recipe uses premium harvested seaweed, natural sea salt, and the highest quality sesame oil. We start by hand picking top notch seaweed. Literally. My father chooses seaweed that meets his quality standards at the beginning of harvesting season in Korea. Then, our seaweed is roasted to perfection, drizzled with rich (but healthy) sesame oil, and sprinkled with natural sea salt to ensure maximum flavor and freshness. All of this is done right at our HACCP certified site in Sokcho, Korea.

We put a lot of attention and love into our product and we hope that you enjoy is as much as we have enjoyed preparing it.
